At times, life can leave us feeling overwhelmed. Perhaps you are stuck going round in circles and unable to move forward. Maybe you feel anxious or stressed and can’t stop negative thinking patterns. Perhaps something has left you feeling traumatised and you don’t know what to do. Well, you are not alone, and I believe change is possible for everyone - in any situation.
Coming to talk to someone about your life and your struggles can feel very uncomfortable and overwhelming. My aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe and at ease, allowing you to share your thoughts and feelings openly, without fear of judgment.
Together, we’ll explore what isn’t working in your life and the pain you’re facing, discovering new ways to manage and alleviate your struggles. Reaching out for support is a significant step, so I offer a free, no-obligation phone consultation to see if we’re the right fit. From there, we can work at your pace to find the approach that best meets your needs.

Reaching out and taking the first step can feel daunting. When we start working together, we build up a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect. I offer a warm and welcoming space for you to feel safe to explore your issues and difficulties. We can work on your goals for therapy so that you can achieve personal growth and lasting change. I tailor our counselling specifically to your needs and we go at your own pace.
To book an appointment email me. I will respond with 24 hours to schedule a convenient time for an initial FREE informal telephone consultation. I will talk you through my approach to counselling, and ask you questions about what brings you to therapy and what your goals might be. If I feel I can help you and you want to work together with me, I will offer you some breathing space before committing. When you are ready, we can then find a suitable time to book your first appointment. This appointment is slightly longer than the standard 50-minute session as it involved a more in-depth assessment.
Everything you discuss with me during our sessions is completely confidential. There are some exceptions to this where I am obliged to break confidentiality: if you disclose involvement in or knowledge of any criminal activities or if there is a safeguarding issue that you or any adult or child related to you could potentially be under threat of harm or abuse. Or if you are involved in terrorism or money laundering.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
